The Interfaith Class
Rabbi Henoch Dov Hoffman & Imam Ibrahim Kazerooni

Rabbi Henoch Dov Hoffman
of "Shalom Al Yisrael" congregation

Imam Ibrahim Kazerooni
a Shiite cleric from Najaf, Iraq

The next class with Imam Kazerooni will be Wednesday, January 23, 8:15 p.m.

And each Wednesday following.

These classes offer a special opportunity to examine the premises of your thinking. Most Jews know very little about the premises of Torah thought. These premises are highlighted when we look at what Islam and the Koran took from the Torah and what they left behind.

In our comparisons of Judaism, Islam and Christianity there is a great deal to learn about ourselves as Jews. These comparisons challenge us to think in new ways. Ignorance about ourselves and others is a luxury we can't afford in the midst of contemporary critical events.

Listen to Menachem's tape of the December 19 class and you will see what I mean.
